My Last Christmas Card Posting

I used Cherry Cobbler as the base for the card,  I ran it through the Big Shot with the Circle Framelit.
I used a strip of Seasons of Style Washi Tape and Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stack to decorate the front and back panels.  I cut (2) 3" circles out of Whisper White Card Stock and adhered to the front and back of the circle.  The Ornament was stamped in Cherry Cobbler  ink on Whisper White Card Stock and punched out with the Ornament Punch. I blinged it up by adding a strip of Basic Rhinestones and added a white bow using 3/8 Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon and adhered to center of front circle with Dimensionals..

3rd Christmas Card Posting

This was the 3rd Christmas Card that I did this year.  I used Whisper White, Smoky Slate card stock and Winter Frost DSP.  I stamped 3 of the ornaments on Whisper White card stock from the Christmas Collectibles set using Smoky Slate, Pool Party and Island Indigo ink then punched with the Christmas Ornament Punch.  I blinged up one ornament with a medium size rhinestone.  I adhered the ornaments using Snail and used Dimensionals on the ornament with the bling.  I tied Silver 1/8" ribbon around the card and placed a tag stamped on Whisper White card stock with Island Indigo and punched with the Label Bracket Punch on top of the ribbon with Dimensionals. 

2nd Christmas Card Post

Another very simple Christmas Card idea CASED from another demonstrator.  I used Cherry Cobbler , Whisper White and Crumb Cake CS.  I used an oval from the Ovals Framelits and used the negative as a stencil.  I sponged Crumb Cake ink inside the oval.  Stamped the largest pine tree from Lovely as a Tree stamp set with Gold Metallic Encore Pad from the Holiday Catalog.  I stamped Merry Christmas with Cherry Cobbler in the middle of the oval.  That's it.  Enjoy!

 

My first Christmas Card Post

 

I used the Happy Hour stamp set to make this Christmas Card.  Card stock - Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler & Gumball Green.  I ran the Cherry Cobbler and a strip of Whisper White through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice folder. The glasses were colored with markers directly on the stamp and a knot of Gumball Green Stitched Satin Ribbon touches off the card. 

Thanksgiving Card

My upline helped me come up with this card since I didn't have any Thanksgiving specific stamps.  I used the Betsy's Blossoms stamp set. I punched a 1" circle and placed on the center of the stamp with adhesive.  I used the thumping technique with Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight.  I applied glue to several areas of the stamped image and added colored glitter.  I used the Thankful thinlet and applied with liquid glue  and made a bow and applied with a glue dot to the top of the wreath.  Card stock is Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla.

Lovely Fall Card

I used the Lovely as a Tree stamp set using the "thumping" technique with Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry, Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler markers on Naturals White CS.  I ran the Crushed Curry card front through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots folder.  I punched a border on a narrow piece of Cajun Craze using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch.  I cut a strip of Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack from the Chocolate Chip . And adhered two strips of Cajun Craze to the top and the bottom. I wrapped a length of 1/8" Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon around the Chocolate Chip Designer Series Paper and tied a knot on the right side of the card.  I punched out little tags using a retired tag punch using Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Naturals White CS, stamped a tiny leaf on the Naturals tag with Chocolate Chip and tied the tags to the bow.  Next I adhered that to the bottom half of the card front. I layered the stamped tree to Crushed Curry and Chocolate Chip CS and adhered with Dimensionals to the card. 

Thanksgiving Card

I made this Thanksgiving card for the simple reason that I didn't have a turkey or other thanksgiving image stamp set and I cased this card from another demonstrator.  I had the Tags 4 You stamp set which covers Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine's Day and the coordinating punch.  I used Chocolate Chip, Tangerine Tango and white CS along with Sweater Weather DSP and 2" of burlap.

Thanksgiving Card

 

I created this Thanksgiving card with punches creating a turkey with a pilgrim hat.  Don't have a specific stamp set for thanksgiving?  Use your punches to create a unique card! 

Grunge Halloween Car

 This is the Halloween card I made with Basic Black and Whisper White card stock, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black ink.  I used 3 of the Witches' Brew Designer Washi Tape and stamped the greeting with the Tags 4 You stamp set and adhered with Dimensionals.  I colored 3 rhinestones orange and placed strategically on the card and tag.  This is a very easy and quick card to make and something totally different from the usual spooky Halloween card.

CASE Card Share

 

CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything.  I received the card below recently and thought ...

I have a stamp set very similar to that tree - why don't I make a similar card.

 

 

The following card is what I created.  I chose Whisper White card stock for the base of the card and Crumb Cake for the top half stamped with the leaf from Betsy's Blossoms stamp set in Versa Mark ink.  I used the tree stamp from the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set inked using the Always Artichoke and Early Espresso markers to add the color on Whisper White card stock. I used a retired Deckle scissors to cut around the tree and mounted on Soft Suede card stock.  I stamped on the front with Gold Metallic Encore ink and gold embossed.    I think it turned out very close to the original card.

 

Wedding Card

This card is very elegant and could be used as a wedding card or an anniversary card.  Most of the card is embossed as well as the butterflies.  It looks like a lot of work but it really didn't take too long to complete start to finish! 

Drivers License Congratulations Card

I have a grandchild who is getting his drivers license and I made this card for him.

This and That Journal

 

I purchases the This and That Journal to take with me to convention so I have a log of all the fun that I'm expecting during my trip.  I covered the front and back covers with Designer Series Papers from the Epic Day series that coordinates with the stickers and Washi Tape.  I tied coordinating ribbons to the spiral binding and glued the logo for this year's convention to the front.  I have a small baggie that I plan to take along so I can document my trip from start to finish.  I can't wait to see the final project when it's finished.  I'll leave space on certain pages to place my photos when they are printed.  You can pre-order this item on my website at

Quick and easy Easter card

Use the clear blocks that you can purchase from Stampin Up and stamp 3 color blocks using Lucky Limeade, Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink by stamping off first.  I stamped the eggs from the Nature Walk set with Midnight Muse and the greeting was stamped with black.  I tied some bakers twine through the button and attached with a glue dot.  Layer with Pretty in Pink onto Lucky Limeade and the card is done!

This is a cute Easter treat you can make easily.  I cut the topper with the Top Note Die folded in half and stapled to a cello bag filled with jelly beans.  The eggs were made by punching out white card stock with the Extra-Large Oval punch.  The stripes on the eggs were made by punching out designer paper with the Scallop Oval and then punched again with the large Oval to form a lacy edge which was cut in half and adhered to one end of the egg with adhesive.  Quick and easy Easter treat for the little ones or they make a nice party treat for adults!

We're excited to let you know that we're introducing a new photopolymer stamp. What is this, you wonder? Well, it's a type of stamp where the actual stamp image is clear in addition to the block.
We're starting off with one stamp set and we plan to offer a new one each month on a trial basis. We now offer options for every stamper: wood-mount, clear-mount, and now photopolymer. Excited?

Stampin Up Convention!

I had to share some pictures from previous Stampin Up National Conventions because we are getting ready to book our flights and register for Convention 2013.  I have to say it's a blast spending time with thousands of stampers across the country and beyond for several days.  We get to stamp and learn lots of new techniques.  Lots of laughs and party time too!  If you sign up to become a demonstrator soon you too could be a part of this great group.  Join my Team!
