I just returned from Stampin Up's Midwest Regional Conference in Milwaukee. I am so stoked about the new catalog and all the new products that will be available June 1st! I'd like to thank my roommates Deb, Norma and Christine for such a fun time! I received some darling "Pillow Gifts" the night we stayed at the Springhill Suites by Marriott downtown Milwaukee.

My group, the "Madison Area Stamping Stars" held a group swap. These cards should give you some ideas for card designs.
Sorry I can't share pictures of cards made with new stamp sets. I will as soon as I can. Be sure to come back soon!
I received some awesome gifts just for attending. We received a very cute shoulder bag for carrying all of our goodies along with a new stamp set, planner, pens and lighted tabletop message board for craft shows, events, etc.

The new catalogs were passed out with lots of excitement in the room. One of the best reasons for attending the event is to receive the catalog 2 months ahead of when it goes live and to be able to pre-order select items April 9th!
We enjoyed watching employees from the home office and select demonstrators make some very cute cards sharing new and exciting techniques.

We had some stamping time both in the morning and afternoon. We made 2 in the morning session and 2 in the afternoon. Sorry but I can't share them here yet! Stampin Up always supplys a box lunch with a cookie or brownie for dessert along with a bottle of water. During lunch time we can wander around trading cards, visiting and/or taking pictures of the display boards of numerous cards and new products.

The Prize Patrol came through several times a day so everyone got a stamp set. I think about 6 different ones were passed out and at the end they passed out another stamp set to everyone! I ended up with 4 FREE stamp sets! After a wonderful day of stamping each table of 6 split all of the new Stampin Up supplies at their table from Stampin Up. I received a spool of Velvet Ribbon, a new Blends colored marker, Stamping Ink Pad, and a packet of 14 note cards and envelopes. Woo Hoo!

If you would love to be included in a group like this be sure to check back here soon. I am looking for that special person to join my group. We have monthly group stamping events in Madison and quarterly local stamping events. The next one is in Mc Farland in June. The 30th Anniversary Celebration of Stampin Up will be held in Orlando in November. I am planning to attend with others from my group. Join us!
