Stampin Up Convention!

I had to share some pictures from previous Stampin Up National Conventions because we are getting ready to book our flights and register for Convention 2013.  I have to say it's a blast spending time with thousands of stampers across the country and beyond for several days.  We get to stamp and learn lots of new techniques.  Lots of laughs and party time too!  If you sign up to become a demonstrator soon you too could be a part of this great group.  Join my Team!

St. Patty's Day Card

I made this card without the use of any shamrock or other St. Patrick's Day Stamps! The greeting was from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I used whisper white card stock for the base of the card.  I cut another layer of white and ran through the Big Shot with theFramed Tulip Folder embossing folder which provides a frame for the shamrock.  The shamrock was made of designer series paper and card stock cut with a large and small heart from the Hearts Collection Framelits again using the Big Shot. I used my white gel pen to put a border around the edges of the green card stock and layered on the larger heart with adhesive.  The stem of the shamrock is a piece of green ribbon.

These little calendars are a cute and easy project using fiber coasters and little pads of calendars.  I embossed the card stock at the top and used a coordinating designer series paper for the bottom half. I used the corner rounder punch on the four outer corners. The flower was made by punching 5 flower punches out of dsp, Crumble each flower and use a brad to attach and form into a flower. If you spritz the paper first with water it makes crumpling easier.  Adhere coordinating ribbon to cover the seam between the cs and dsp, attach the calendar and place magnets on the back to made a refrigerator magnet.  They make quick gifts for teachers, hair dressers, etc.

This is a card I CASED from someone so it's not an original deign but I needed an Easter card and didn't have any cute Easter stamps so this card was great using an embossing folder, punches and die to create the chick in the egg!

This is my last project for Valentine's Day.  I made 10 of these cute little Hershey Nugget purses for a little girls tea party yesterday.  Very fun and quick to make and everyone loved then!

This is a cute and easy card for Easter.  I used the clear blocks and stamped on the card with pastel colors then added an image for Easter and a little greeting.  I placed the button tied with baker's twine on the largest square with a glue dot and it was done!  This is a very quick card to make if you are pressed for time!

My upline made these cute Easter treats using the skinny 1x4" cello bags filled with jelly beans.  The tops were tied with thin ribbon and decorated with a small punched image punched out using the postage stamp punch.

This is a very simple Valentine card that I created for a stamp class.  I didn't have any current Valentine stamps at the time so I used my Big Shot to emboss pink and red card stock and simply punched out some hearts and adhered with dimensionals.  I attached some black ribbon and drew dotted lines down to the hearts with a black marker.  The stamped greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Very quick and easy if you haven't gotten all your cards done!

I just received this Valentine from my upline Norma Artman.  Lots of designer series papers, ribbon and dies used to create this card and a little stamping.  Should be fairly easy to assemble once everything is cut!

Another beautiful Valentine card that I received at the demonstrator trade session.  Love the use of Honeycomb embossing folder, Sizzlits and stamps.

I received this card in a swap at my downline meeting.  I'm not sure which demonstrator made this card but it's a nice mix of designer series papers, cardstock and Sizzlit dies.
